About Luke
I've worked in public accounting in Abilene for a decade, preparing partnership, corporate, and personal tax returns, and working closely with small business owners on financial statement preparation and tax planning across a range of industries.
What I've found is that the tax return is only as good as the financials behind it. When a business has real financial oversight all year, not just at tax time, the return becomes a natural reflection of that. That's the work I built Upland Advisory around.
I graduated from Texas A&M University and made more than a few drives up to Abilene throughout college to see my wife Marley, a graduate of Abilene Christian University. What started as a reason to visit became home. We've been putting down roots here for over ten years. Marley and I have three kids: Merritt, Drew, and Callum.
